The driveway gets installed today. We are finally done with the mud patch- well, most of it since the final grading and landscaping is yet to be completed.
There are always things that no amount of planning can account for in construction. Damage to product during delivery is one of them- it's frustrating! Two previous butcher block tops arrived with damage and had to be refused leading to 3 months of delay. The finish island arrived today without incident and the last interior trim detail can be checked off the list.
We are wrapping up some final details on the inside and prepared for final inspection. The before and after pictures really show how much the house has changed in the last 5 months but still retains the period character.
