Our Lake Forest homeowner asked our team to help with accommodating their special needs in a bathroom space that posed significant challenges.The BDS team transformed it into an accessible haven. Opening up the area and eliminating a closet allowed for more maneuverability, while relocating the closet and incorporating alcoves offered practical storage solutions. Implementing a curbless shower entry, along with a folding bench and strategically placed fixtures, greatly enhanced accessibility and ease of use without compromising on style. Numerous safety grab bars, tastefully integrated to avoid an industrial feel, provided essential support. The BDS team also installed a bench for added convenience and relocated floor registers away from traffic and water flow. To improve comfort and brightness, we installed additional lighting and a fan/heater unit, while new windows not only contributed to a more comfortable atmosphere but also allowed for fresh air to flow freely once again.
