This remodel in Barrington was a special project for our BDS team. This historically significant home was designed, built and added to over the years by Don Erickson, a student of Frank Lloyd Wright. This stunning home had a 3 year massive renovation with additions that upgraded every aspect of the home while maintaining the original design and style. A geothermal system added a complete indoor radiant heating and cooling system. The entire electrical infrastructure was upgraded to modern and safe standards. There was also additional space added for mechanical rooms. Our team updated and added a new roof line over the indoor pool. We were also able to complete this incredible outdoor space with new patios, outdoor living, and an olympic lap pool. The character and design of this historical home is truly a work of art everywhere you look.
